Dear Gigi,
You are absolutely correct. I apologize for referring to you as a brat instead of "entertaining". After all, my little girl, Lucy, had a personality very similar to yours and was very smart too. She was always entertaining and we still laugh about everything she did until it was time for her to move to Heaven. She is "entertaining" all of her grandparents in Heaven now. We miss her a lot, but we were so lucky to have her in our family.
She was so smart that she too entertained herself when she was young by refusing to eat. Her dad and I reacted the same way that your mom and papa are reacting and she very much enjoyed it. She finally realized that we were pretty smart too when she observed that eating made her grow bigger and stronger so that she could run and play faster and further and could even jump up on the bed by herself.
It was a win/win result in that her dad agreed to lay on the family room floor each night with her until she finished her dinner. Years later when she became more mature like Miranda, she ate her breakfast and dinner all by herself.
I bet that you will decide to do the same soon. After all, I think you already get plenty of attention from your mom and papa and I know that you are too sweet to want to cause your parents any anxiety. If you don't know the meaning of "anxiety", use your dictionary or ask your mom. She will probably remind you of how you felt when you visited Marilyn. Anxiety is not good for people, the two or four legged variety.
The best thing about being "entertaining" is that I can almost guarantee that you will make your mom and papa laugh each day of your life. Did you know that laughter is the best gift that a human can be given?
Your blog makes me laugh and not miss Lucy as much. Thank you for taking the time to write it.
Please eat well so that you will have the energy to write your blog and convince your mom to continue to type it for you. You know, if you refuse to eat, she might refuse to type. This possibility is something for you to ponder (dictionary needed?).

( 2.9 / 127 )Thundar, the great god of bowling, came for a visit last night! I was up in Papa's office. Good thing because Mom was out like a light. She never heard a thing! Some protection she would have been.
Anyway, Charlie ended up on Papa's lap and Frankie made his way to Papa's lap too. Those boys! I was the bravest! I just stayed by his feet.
Mom said she knew a good storm was coming so she took these pictures for me before she went to bed!

Mom says I could be like “Dear Abby”. I could give advise to other furkids out there....hey why limit it to furkids? Humans could use some of my insight too! This is sounding too good. “Dear Gigi”! I think I found my life calling - giving advise!
Mom says advise is cheap. Good - because I don't make any money anyway! Every time we go to the vets Papa says we need to find a job. I think maybe I just did!
